Austrian Speciality: Kaiserschmarren (Ceasar's Pancake)


  • 1 1/2 cup flour (120g)

  • 1/4 cup Plant Bake Protein Powder

  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 275 ml Pant Milk

  • 70ml Maple Syrup

  • 1 Tbsp Oil

  • Raisins

To serve:

  • Plum Compote

  • Apple Sauce



  1. Mix all wet ingredients and all dry ingredients and then combine into a thick batter
  2. Heat up a tablespoon of vegetable oil or vegan butter and pour in all the batter
  3. Once it's slightly brown on one side add some raisins on top and flip the pancake. Let it bake for a few minutes on the other side.
  4. Break the pancake apart in the pan with the wooden spoon.
  5. To serve: place on a plate next to apple mousse and/or plum compote and sprinkle with powdered Sugar.
